Taxi driver watches tv while driving

This is actually very frequent to see 2 wide screen devices
on a korean cab : GPS and DMB TV.

Update (in an other cab) :

  1. Fun. I had no idea this could happen. Do you have any idea of car accidents in South Korea? Can we compare it to France? Korea seems crowded…

Here in Canada they plan to forbid the use of mobile phone while driving, which is quite a big deal for many drivers!

We should definitely have a well-spread DMB-TV kind of network in Paris. Watching TV in the metro is a must and does not work with 3G (and I know what I am talking about).

  2. Trafic-wise We could compare Busan to Italy ! Some drivers don’t use Seat belt, others are doing reverse Driving on the highway entrante (I was in the cab and i though I would die!).

I think accidents are more fatal. But I don’t have stats. I know it’s higher than in France.

I’m not a TV fan but yes : DMB is late, very late in France. And 3G in the subway also…

  3. This is incredibly common in Korea and it is not just taxi drivers, although they are the biggest offenders. Any time you are out driving in Korea you can see people watching TV as they drive. I saw it twice myself only tonight.
